SMS consent and message terms
Program and message type. JustSignOff sends transactional work-approval messages on behalf of a subscribing business to that business's existing customer. A request may be an estimate, change order, or service authorization. For each specific request, messages may include the initial request, up to two reminders while it remains unsigned, and one signed-copy link. These messages are not advertising, lead generation, or cold outreach.
Initial opt-in: verbal consent
This is the only initial opt-in path. The provider is already speaking with its existing customer in person or by phone about a specific estimate, change order, or service authorization. Before entering the customer's mobile number, the provider must show the customer this disclosure or read the following script exactly:
Required verbal disclosure
“May I use JustSignOff to text you on behalf of [Business Name] about this specific work-approval request? You may receive the initial request, up to two reminders if you have not responded, and one signed-copy link after signature—no more than four messages for this request. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Your consent is not a condition of purchasing goods or services. Privacy: justsignoff.com/privacy. Terms: justsignoff.com/terms. Do you agree?”
The customer must affirmatively say yes. If the customer does not agree, the provider may use email but may not send an SMS request.
Provider confirmation shown in JustSignOff
The authenticated provider form records the verbal consent time. The separate SMS confirmation is always unchecked by default and is cleared if the provider changes the mobile number. This public replica shows the exact confirmation presented in the app:
Unchecked by default. The request cannot be sent by SMS until the provider checks it.
Re-subscription after opting out
A customer who previously replied STOP may re-subscribe from that same mobile number by replying START. START is only a re-subscription path for a customer who previously gave verbal consent; it is not used for first-time enrollment. The confirmation identifies JustSignOff, the transactional message type, frequency, rates, HELP, and STOP instructions.
Frequency and charges. Up to four messages per approval request. Message and data rates may apply.
Opt out and help. Reply STOP to stop messages from the sending number. Reply START to resume after opting out. Reply HELP for help, or email support@justsignoff.com.
Privacy. Mobile information and SMS consent records are used only to provide the requested transaction and operate the service. They are not sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy and Terms.
